Nimer Rashed directed Run Away to number one on Netflix in 37 countries. His previous credits include Fool Me Once, one of Netflix's ten most-watched English-language series of all time, and Missing You, which has accumulated over 94 million views on the platform.

A child actor from the age of seven, he performed with the Royal Shakespeare Company and appeared in film and television before moving into writing in his twenties. He received the Sir Peter Ustinov Scriptwriting Award at the International Emmys. He trained as a director on the BBC Drama Directors Scheme.
