Nimer Rashed is a film and television director working in premium drama, known for performance-driven, character-focused storytelling with a strong cinematic sensibility.

He is Lead Director and Executive Producer on Run Away for Netflix, following his directing work on Fool Me Once and Missing You, the platform’s adaptations of Harlan Coben novels. Fool Me Once ranks among Netflix’s Top 10 most-watched English-language series of all time.

He began his career as a child actor before moving into writing and directing, a background that continues to inform his approach to performance and collaboration with actors. He is a recipient of the Sir Peter Ustinov Scriptwriting Award at the International Emmy Awards, recognising emerging international writing talent.
