Crowdfunding!

I've moved to a new web template specifically because I decided it'd be a good idea to start blogging again – so here goes!

I plan to update this blog with various bits and pieces that'll hopefully be of interest to other writers and filmmakers out there – updates on filmmaking opportunities in the UK, thoughts on the creative process in general, as well as anything else that comes to mind.

Right now's a good time to start blogging – I've just handed in a new play commission and am gearing up to shoot a short film for the BFI later this year, after which I'll be directing TV for the first time, so will hopefully have plenty of experiences to share in the coming weeks and months.

Right now, a lot of my attention is taken up with crowdfunding for my next short film. It's called London Tomorrow and it's about Syrian refugees. It's a project I've been developing for over a year now, and I can't wait to get cracking – it's enormously exciting and ambitious and if we pull it off will make for one hell of a good film.

If you're interested to learn more about London Tomorrow and feel like donating it'd be hugely appreciated - you can check out details of our crowdfunding campaign here.

Thanks for reading. More blog updates coming soon...
